Our project, spatial magnetic field visualization (aka real-time volumetric magnetic field visualization), is a kinetic art installation that responds to the magnetic fields change. We generated magnetic fields utilizing three electromagnets that receive voltage input from data (real science data such as magnetic storm, generated set of numbers or values from a local magnetometer). Responding to the invisible magnetic field lines that constantly change, the array of hanging balls (painted compasses) move accordingly and create the visual change.
